Overview
We are delighted to be exhibiting at the prestigious British Art Fair, focusing on an impressive collection by Piers Bourke - one of Britain's most exciting mixed media artists with an international following.
Communication and its role within modern society is the central theme of Piers' work. His artwork is created using photography, mixed media and progressive painting techniques, each with a traditional and time-staking approach to assembly and detail.
Iconic objects such as telephone boxes, newspaper stands and postage stamps symbolise how technology is eroding their use. Alongside beautifully constructed abstract canvases, all with 3D and sculptural elements.
